New Easy Installation Version Uploaded 08/05/00!!!
To Install the DuckDiverScreenSaver
on your PC:
1. Download the InstallDuckDiverScreenSaver.exe file from the link above.
2. Use Windows Explorer and double click on the InstallDuckDiverScreenSaver.exe file in the file folder where you put it.
This will extract the files into the C:\DuckDiverScreenSaver directory. It is important that the image files remain in this directory. After the installation, you can test the screensaver by clicking on its icon.
3. Go to, "My Computer," "Control Panel," "Display," "ScreenSaver," and select DuckDiverScreenSaver from the pull-down menu to set it as your default screensaver. Click on Preview to test it.
Once it is installed, you can change the pictures any time you like with your very own "jpg" photos. For best results, only use pictures that are 800x600dpi resolution.
For example, to replace the third picture in the series with one of your own pictures:
Create an 800x600 "jpg" file with your favorite photo editor, and name it picture3.jpg.
Copy this file into the C:\DuckDiverScreenSaver directory. The next time the ScreenSaver runs, it will use the new picture3.jpg that you have copied into the C:\DuckDiverScreenSaver directory.
Notes:a) There must be 20 image files (named Picture1.jpg through Picture20.jpg) in the C:\DuckDiverScreenSaver directory.
b) Only "jpg" file format pictures may replace the default files (no other formats work).
To Install new image Packs for use with the ScreenSaver:
1. Download the new Image Pack into the C:\DuckDiverScreenSaver directory.
2. Go to Windows File Manager and double click on the Image Pack filename in the C:\DuckDiverScreenSaver directory. This will extract the files into the C:\DuckDiverScreenSaver directory (it is important that the image files remain in this directory). Any existing images will be replaced with the images from the new image pack.
You can keep multiple Image Packs in the same DuckDiverScreenSaver directory so you can easily replace one set of images with another. Just double-click on an Image Pack filename any time you want to change the images.
